In the coming year, we look forward to welcoming you to a Tibetan tea room upstairs at Bodhi Tree. Named after the Lost Horizon restaurant that Tsering Ngodup Lama opened in Kathmandu, Nepal in 1978, the Lost Horizon Tea Room at Bodhi Tree will offer a relaxing, peaceful place to gather, reflect and further experience the beauty of Tibetan tradition. We will serve savory Tibetan momos (steamed dumplings), thukpa (noodle soup), deysil (a traditional rice dish offered as a blessing), kapse (Tibetan cookies), and of course plenty of hot chai (milk tea), bo cha (Tibetan butter tea), herb teas, coffees, lassis (Indian yoghurt drinks) and fresh-squeezed juices. Guests will have the option of sitting at tables in our sun-filled front room or on low cushions in our inner, more traditionally-decorated room. More to come soon. |
