Biography of Tsering Ngodup Lama

Tsering Ngodup Lama is a lama, or Tibetan Buddhist teacher, authorized to teach by HH ShaMar Rinpoche. HH ShaMar Rinpoche is one of the lineage holders of the Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism, the 14th incarnation of the Shamarpa or Red Hat Lama of Tibet, and a highly accomplished meditation master. Bodhi Tree’s classes on Buddhist philosophy and meditation are offered in affiliation with the Bodhi Path Buddhist centers which HH ShaMar Rinpoche has established across the US and in many other parts of the world.

Tsering Ngodup has devoted over twenty years to sharing the religious and spiritual teachings of Tibetan Buddhism in the West. He has traveled across the world, translating and interpreting Buddhist teachings for highly accomplished Tibetan lamas and masters from all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism - Nyingma, Gelukpa, Sakya, and Kagyu. In this process, he has received many teachings and transmissions in both Sutra and Tantra (Vajrayana.) Through this experience, he has acquired knowledge and insight which HH ShaMar Rinpoche has recognized and asked him to share through teaching.
